Every pair on Second Walk is preloved and carries one of four condition grades. The grade gives you a quick idea of how well a pair has been kept. The photos and condition notes show you exactly what that pair looks like.
The four grades
From our highest grade to the most worn:
Grade 1
Second Walk Exclusive
Our highest grade, for the best-kept pairs. On product cards it is shortened to “Exclusive”.
Grade 2
Premium
Pairs in very good condition, just below Exclusive.
Grade 3
A+
Pairs with more visible signs of previous use than Premium.
Grade 4
A
Pairs with the most visible signs of use among our grades. Still listed because we think they are worth a second walk.
Every grade is preloved. Every pair has been owned and worn before, so even our highest grade may show signs of previous use. No grade means “new”.
Always check the photos and notes
- Look at every photo. They show the exact pair you will receive, not a stock image. Colours can look slightly different on different screens.
- Read the condition notes on the product page, where we describe wear or defects we have noticed.
- Ask us if you would like to know more about a pair before you order. Mention its Second Walk ID.
A higher grade is not always the better choice
The grade describes condition only. It does not tell you how a pair fits, or whether the brand, model or style is right for you. A well-fitting A pair can be a better buy than an Exclusive pair in a model that does not suit your feet. Check the size chart too.
About our pairs
Second Walk is an independent reseller of preloved footwear and is not affiliated with the brands we sell. We describe each pair’s brand, model, size and condition as accurately as we can. Each pair is one of a kind: once it sells, it is gone.
