This policy explains what personal information Second Walk collects when you use secondwalk.pk, why we use it, and the choices you have. If you have a question, email info@secondwalk.pk.
Information we collect
When you place an order
- your name, phone number and email address,
- your delivery address and city,
- any order notes you add, and
- what you ordered, the amounts and the status of your order.
If you create an account
- your email address and password (stored in a scrambled, hashed form that nobody can read, including us),
- saved addresses and your order history, and
- your wishlist, so it is kept across your devices.
If you write a review or contact us
- the name, email address and text you give in a product review, and
- the messages you send us by email, phone or our contact form (your name, email, and any phone number or order number you add), and our replies. Contact form messages are sent to our inbox and are not stored on the website.
Technical information
Like most websites, our server records technical information such as your IP address and browser type. Your IP address and browser details are also stored with an order, to help prevent fraud and abuse.
We do not collect card or bank details: all orders are paid in cash on delivery.
Cookies and browser storage
We use only what the website needs to work. We do not use advertising cookies.
- Cart and checkout: cookies that remember your cart and your checkout session.
- Signing in: cookies that keep you signed in to your account.
- Performance: a cookie used by our page cache to show you the right version of a page.
- Wishlist and recently viewed: the pairs you save or look at are remembered in your own browser (local storage). If you are signed in, your wishlist is also saved to your account.
You can clear cookies and browser storage in your browser settings at any time. Your cart and wishlist on that browser will then be emptied.
How we use your information
- to process your order and deliver your pair,
- to send you emails about your order,
- to answer your questions and handle returns and refunds,
- to run your account, if you have one,
- to keep the website secure and prevent fraud and abuse,
- to keep the website working properly, and
- where the law requires it.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We share only what is needed:
- Delivery: the person or company that delivers your order receives your name, phone number, address and the amount to collect.
- Hosting and email: our website and email are run on hosting services that store information on our behalf.
- When required by law: if we are legally required to share information.
How long we keep it
We keep order information for as long as we need it to run the shop, handle returns, keep proper records and meet legal obligations. Account information is kept while your account is open. You can ask us to close your account at any time.
Keeping it safe
The website uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and access to customer information is limited to people who need it. No website can be completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Your choices
- You can see and update your account details and addresses in My account.
- You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or erase it. Some order records may need to be kept for legal or accounting reasons.
- Email info@secondwalk.pk for any privacy request.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we use personal information, we will update this page and the date below.
